Both my boys ski on these teams so this is a good one to hit up!  This is one of the first ski-swaps in southern Maine so it is a good one to get the ski-swap season started! More info here.

If you are new to ski swaps here is a post about ski swap buying strategies. They can be pretty intimidating to the first-time buyer as it was for us 6 years ago!

I am sure there are more Maine Ski Swaps that I am missing on this list. If you know of a swap you like to visit feel free to comment:

  1. I tried a ski swap before and it's cool.I like it.Your post is great! All the details on ski swap are here.Excellent and informative article!

  2. A friend gave me a pair of old used Blizzard snow skis, new probably about 10 years ago. They are hardly used at all and I have poles. Today I am going to a ski swap and I want to sell them but I'm not sure how much they are worth? Please someone give me an idea??

  3. Most older recreational skis go in the $25-$50 range. Recreational Poles go from $5-$15.

One thing about older skis - often the bindings are past their useful life and ski shops will no longer work on them to adjust them... due to liability concerns. You can learn more about indemnification and can get a list of the current approved bindings for each ski manufacturer here.

  4. Do you have any info on a sale going on at Cony HS in Augusta this weekend (Nov. 17th)?

    1. I don't have any info on a Cony HS ski swap. Please let me know if you find out more!
