Alta Road Conditions and Interlodge Status
Keep an eye on this live link to the Town of Alta website for live road and interlodge status updates. Often on a big snow day there is an avalanche danger and the road has to be closed for a period of time for avalanche control. And if the town is under interlodge status don't venture outside! Big fine if you do.
Alta Snow Report from Alta.com
Additionally, you can always go to the Alta Snow Report page get the latest ski conditions info and follow the Alta Twitter feed for latest ski trail and lift statuses. The twitter account is especially helpful to get notified about mid-day lift and trail openings / closures while on-mountain.
