Alta Weather Radar

Storm coming? This Utah radar will tell you if snow is on the way! Alta ski area is just southeast of Salt Lake City. Radar provided by Weather Underground.

Alta Weather Forecast

This is a great graphical weather table from the National Weather Service that gives a two day forecast for temperature, wind, precipitation potential along with rain and snow amounts. This forecast is for the upper mountain areas (10,000 feet) so you can tell what the weather forecast is at elevation.

Alta Road Conditions and Interlodge Status

Keep an eye on this live link to the Town of Alta website for live road and interlodge status updates. Often on a big snow day there is an avalanche danger and the road has to be closed for a period of time for avalanche control. And if the town is under interlodge status don't venture outside! Big fine if you do.
