Here is the 2024 edition of the Family Skiing in Maine Ski Swap Guide. Swaps are a great way to save money on winter gear. You can read this Portland Press Herald article for some advice on buying used gear.

October - Maine Ski Swaps
12th - The Rack BBQ on the Sugarloaf Access Road in Carrabassett Valley will have their Ski Swap and Sell on Saturday, October 12th from 8:00am - 2:00pm. Keep an eye on their Facebook event page for more information and check out their swap poster.
12th - 14th - Happy Tunes in Carrabassett Valley is having its Sugarloaf Homecoming sale over the holiday weekend offering used ski & gear along with quality consignments. Check out the sale poster for more information.
19th - The Penobscot Valley Ski Club ski sale will be Saturday, October 19th from 8:00am to 2:00pm at the Bangor Parks and Recreation Building. See their website FMI.
25th - 26th - The Bethel Outing Club Ski Sale will be Friday and Saturday (25th-26th) at the Gould Academy Field House. Check out their website FMI.
November - Maine Ski Swaps
2nd - The Freeport Ski Booster Swap is Saturday, November 2nd from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Freeport High School Gym (30 Holbrook Street). Equipment check-in will be Friday, November 1st, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Sport Thoma and Akers Ski will be at the swap with new and used gear. FMI check out their Ski Swap web page.
2nd - The Quarry Road Ski Club in Waterville is having a Ski & Skate Swap Saturday November 2nd starting at 9:00am. See the event listing on their website for more information.
2nd - Titcomb Mountain ski swap is Saturday November 2nd from 10:00am - 1:00pm at their base lodge in Farmington. Equipment drop off is Thursday and Friday. Check out their Facebook Page FMI.
2nd - The Portland location of Allspeed Cyclery & Snow is having their annual Ski Swap on Saturday, November 2nd starting at 10am. Get all the details on their Facebook event page.
3rd - Quoggy Jo Ski Center is having a ski sale at the Presque Isle Community Center from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Sunday November 3rd.. Check out their Facebook page FMI.
3rd - The 57th annual Brunswick Parks and Recreation Ski and Skate Sale will be held Sunday, November 3rd from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Recreation Center located at 220 Neptune Drive in Brunswick. More information about the sale can be found on their website.
9th - NEW DATE! The Camden Hills Regional High School ski sale Saturday, November 9th, 9:00am to 2:00pm at the Camden Hills Regional High school gym. Keep an eye on their website for more information.
10th - The Auburn Ski Association Ski Swap will be held on Sunday, November 10 from 9:00am to 2:00pm at Lost Valley ski area in Auburn. See their website for more details.
16th - The Yarmouth Ski Swap is happening 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, November 16th at the William H. Rowe School in Yarmouth. See more details at their website.
17th - Lonesome Pine Trails in Fort Kent will have their 2024 Ski Sale on Sunday, November 17th. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for further details.
17th - Gorham Bike & Ski is having a used ski sale at their Congress Street location in Portland, Maine on Sunday November 17th. Sale starts at 9:00am. Check out their website FMI.
24th - The River Valley Kids Ski Too organization sponsors an event to help kids ages 3-18 in the Rumford / Androscoggin River Valley region obtain ski gear for free. They will help youngsters "size-up" or receive "new to them" ski equipment at their annual give away. The event will be from 9:00am - 1:00pm at 102 Harlow Hill Road in Mexico. 30th - The Downeast Ski Club is listing the 2024 swap to be held on its usual date the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 30th from 8:00am to 3:00pm at the Portland Expo. Keep an eye on the website for more details.
December - Maine Ski Swaps
7th - Pinnacle Ski Club in Pittsfield is having their ski swap and sale December 7 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at 271 Waverly Ave in Pittsfield. Stay tuned to their website and Facebook page for further announcements.
