COVID-19 still continues to be an issue. It will be interesting to see what swaps are held again this year. Cancelled - Maine Ski Swaps
The following skis swaps have been cancelled due to COVID-19 and other concerns for 2021 - but hope to be back in 2022.
- The Auburn Ski Association has cancelled their swap for this year but plans to be back in 2022.
- The Penobscot Valley Ski Club will not be holding its ski sale in Bangor this year but hopes to return in 2022.
- Allspeed Cyclery and Snow will not be holding their ski swap this year at their Portland location due to lack of used inventory and staffing shortages.
- The Agamenticus Ski Club is not hosting a ski swap this year but may try to host one next year. They are doing a Beach 5K Run on October 24 as a fundraiser for the club. Check out their website FMI.
October - Maine Ski Swaps
9th - The Rack located on the Sugarloaf access road is holding its 4th annual tailgate ski swap in their parking lot. Swap runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm. View the swap poster FMI.
9th & 10th - Happy Tunes in Carrabassett Valley is having a tent sale where they are also taking quality consignments. You can start dropping off equipment on Friday at 3pm. View their newsletter FMI.
November - Maine Ski Swaps
6th - The Freeport Ski Boosters ski & winter equipment swap will be held November 6th at 9:00am to 1:00pm at Freeport High School. New this year they are accepting ice skates, hockey equipment, and anything else involved in winter fun for consignment. FMI check out their website.
6th - The Quarry Road Ski Club will be having their Ski & Skate Swap on Saturday November 6th 9:00am to 2:00pm at Quarry Road Trails in Waterville. See the swap poster FMI.
6th - Titcomb Mountain in Farmington will have their 39th annual ski sale November 6th 10:00am - 1:00pm. Equipment Drop-off: Monday Nov 1 - Friday Nov 5 from 4-6pm.
7th - The 54th annual Brunswick Parks and Recreation Ski and Skate Sale will be held Sunday, November 7th from 1pm to 4pm at the Recreation Center at 220 Neptune Drive in Brunswick. More information about the sale and COVID protocols can be found on their website.
13th - We have confirmed Big Rock Ski Area in Mars Hill will have their annual ski sale on November 13th 10:00am to 2:00pm. Equipment check-in will be from 8:00am - 9:30am.
20th - You can save the date for the Yarmouth Ski Club Ski Sale and Swap on Saturday, November 20th 9:00am to 12:00pm at William H. Rowe School. Get more information on their website.
21st - Lonesome Pine Trails up in Fort Kent is having their ski sale Sunday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. See their Facebook Page FMI.
20th-21st - The Camden Hills Annual Ski Sale will be held Saturday & Sunday, November 20-21 with equipment drop off on Friday, November 19. The sale will be held at Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport with proceeds benefiting the school ski teams.
27th - The Downeast Ski Club is listing the 2021 swap to be held on its usual date the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 27th from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the Portland Expo. Keep an eye on the website for more details.
