Welcome to A Family Skiing in Maine

Fun times at Sugarloaf - Winter 2019
Yes, we are truly a family skiing in Maine (and once of a while in Utah). Since launching this blog way back in 2011, our sons have grown into young adults (who we are very proud of) and they have started to build their own adventures in life. One thing that still connects us is skiing in the mountains of Maine. We get together many times each winter in search of fresh snow and good times together.

We use this blog to chronicle some of our ski days and share relevant news about the Maine ski industry. We also maintain an annual page detailing all the ski swaps happening in Maine along with an annual ski season pass guide.

The old man of the group also has a hobby where he speaks loudly into microphones in large places... a.k.a. being a stadium public address announcer. He sometimes use this blog to share new and interesting things in the world of sports public address announcing.

Feel free to following along on the old man's Instagram and Twitter feed where he posts about all things skiing, sports, PA announcing and Maine. And our A Family Skiing in Maine Facebook page keeps current with our skiing adventures.

Thanks for visiting and get outside and enjoy all this great state has to offer!
